We in the Her Collective planning hub are excited to invite you to join us this Sunday for an evening spent exploring the power of STORY.
Who doesn't love a good story? Stories captivate us, inspire us, and speak to us. They build bridges of compassion and understanding. They let us glimpse the greater arc of the shared human story, and reveal how God is writing still. The truth is that each one of us is living a story, intentionally or not. And this all begs the questions: Is my story worth sharing? How do I share my story? How do I live my best story? We plan to give you easy steps, and a safe environment to hear from, share with, and encourage your HC sisters. As with every Her Collective gathering, our goal is that you, the whole of you, would leave feeling nourished and inspired. This time, it's in the living and the telling of your story.
We will be meeting at our friend Nancy's home, 19335 70 Ave from 7-9 pm on Sunday April 22. There will be home baked pie and tea (hello delicious!) and we will be hearing part of our beautiful friend Doriane Nyandwi's story as part of our evening together.
New and exciting this month, Her Collective will be going Book Club style, reading "If You Only Knew" by Jamie Ivey through the end of April and May. She shares her story with courage, about how Jesus chased her down and rescued her, in the middle of all the complicated bits. We will have a limited number of books on hand this Sunday to purchase for $20. We'll bring the conversation to life over the upcoming four weeks, on our Her Collective Facebook Group page. Hey if you're not yet part of that page, let us know- we'd love to add you! Let us know if you'd like us to save a book for you by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
